Round Rock, Hutto, Taylor, and Georgetown residents are eligible for rebates through the “Texas Saves Energy” Home Performance with Energy Star program. These cash rebates can cover a significant portion of the cost of energy efficiency upgrades that will lower your monthly utility bills and increase the value of your home.

Rebates are available for the following energy efficiency improvements:
Air Infiltration Sealing and Weatherization
Air Duct Sealing
Attic Insulation
Kneewall Insulation
Solar Shading
CFL Lightbulbs
Additionally, the federal government is offering tax credits for attic insulation and solar attic fans. Through December 2011, homeowners can receive a tax credit for 10% of insulation costs or a tax credit for 30% of solar ventilation costs.
