San Antonio residents are eligible for rebates through the CPS Energy rebate program. These cash rebates help offset the cost of energy efficiency improvements that will significantly lower your monthly utility bills and increase the value of your home.

Cash incentives include:

$250 off duct sealing/testing

25% off duct replacement

25 cents per sq. ft. of attic insulation

50 cents per sq. ft. for solar shading

Additionally, the federal government is offering tax credits for attic insulation and solar attic fans. Through December 2011, homeowners can receive a tax credit for 10% of insulation costs or a tax credit for 30% of solar ventilation costs.
